Djembe Case: Standard - Black

This is our Wooden Roots Standard Djembe case which is available in ONE SIZE - XXL. 

Whats the difference - This case is constructed with the same quality as or other cases however this case is designed for TOP LOADING and does not have a front zipper. It also only has one pocket. By simply cutting out these extras features we are able to offer this case at a cheaper price.

SIZING: Please measure your djembe prior to ordering.

This djembe case is suitable for djembes with a head size of between 12” (30.5cms) - 15″(38cms) THIS INCLUDES RINGS & ROPE. The base can support djembes up to 12” (30.5cms) wide. The height your djembe can be is up to 25 1/2” (65cms) Remember this case is top loading so please keep in mind that you will need to lift your djembe in and out of the case - it is free standing however which helps.

The bag is made with waterproof* heavy duty Cordura fabric.  It has been strengthened at all major points and has been designed with extra padding in all the places you need it when carrying your drum across fields/beaches and through airports etc.

Inside the bag are separate zipper pockets housing 25mm thick & full length hard foam which can be taken out so that the bag can be flat packed.  The foam, however is what gives the case a very rigid look and feel and also makes it free standing for ease of getting your drum in and out of it.

There is a synthetic leather rim that pulls down and around the lid to provide added protection and which also covers an industrial zipper helping to protect the bag contents from the rain.  The leather rim also gives a very sleek finished look to the case when it’s fastened up.

There is one large pocket on the side of the case which can be used for Ksink-ksinks / drum straps / towel, water etc.  The size of the pocket is an ample 15 3/4” x 7 7'/8” (40cm x 20cm).

The back-pack straps & lumber area have had extra padding added for super comfort and there is extra protection in the top lid where a 6mm ply wood and hard foam are used in combination to ensure that nothing penetrates through to your drum head.  There is also a side handle which is padded for extra comfort when you are not carrying the bag on your back. The bottom of the case has a rubber base for added protection and total peace of mind.

*We consider this case to be showerproof and close to waterproof but we do not guarantee that your drum will remain dry if you are caught in a heavy and constant downpour alternatively if the case is left out in the rain.
